Decolas Kiiza, Head of Finance at Uganda's FA told Xinhua on Wednesday that they have received an invitation from Tunisia Football Federation and are now making arrangements to travel to Tunis for the game slated for July 15.


"We are planning to send the team to Tunisia on Friday so that they can have some days of camping in Tunisia before the match and later connect to Alexandria where they will face Egypt," said Kiiza.


The Kobs, Uganda's U-23 team ejected Rwanda to qualify for the next phase where they will face Egypt on July 18 at the Borg Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria.


Head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic said the build-up will be important because Tunisia play similar type of football like Egypt.


Sredojevic said they will make sure they utilize the few days of camping in Tunisia before heading to Alexandria.


Striker Junior Yunus Ssentamu who plies his trade for Tunisia's CS Sfaxien together with defender Richard Juuko Kasagga and goalkeeper Salim Magoola who features for El Merreikh in Sudan will lead the Uganda Kobs team.
