Many of his stops have been only for training camp or the practice squad.He does have experience playing for both Adam Gase and Gregg Williams. Burgess spent his first training camp with Miami in 2016. He eventually spent part of three seasons in Cleveland. His time overlapped with Williams’ stint on the Browns coaching staff. After Cleveland let him go in 2018, he found his way back to Gase’s Dolphins as a member of the practice squad for the rest of the season.Burgess played his college ball at Louisville before entering the NFL.
