DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Chase Elliott missed his senior prom Friday, but wasnt too disappointed. "I had a good date tonight, the Lady in Black, cant forget about that," he said, smiling. The 18-year-old son of NASCAR great Bill Elliott raced to his second straight Nationwide Series victory, moving from fifth to first on the final two laps Friday night. Elliott broke through for his first series win last week at Texas when he passed Sprint Cup veteran Kevin Harvick. At Darlington, Elliot moved past Sadler when the veteran got loose coming off Turn 2 on a restart two laps from the end. Elliott drives for JR Motorsports, owned in part by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt saw Bill Elliott at the Victory Lane celebration and asked how long it would be until Chase graduates -- and gets to come to the race shop fulltime. "He aint even focusing on racing, hes in school," Earnhardt said. "Wait until he gets graduated, hes going to be really trouble for those other boys." Hes plenty trouble for Nationwide competitors right now. At 18 years, 4 months, 14 days, he became the youngest in the series to win twice and the youngest winner at Darlington. "I dont know that we expected to come and win races at least this fast," Elliott said. Elliott will graduate next month on May 17, when the Nationwide Series is in Iowa. He plans to test in Iowa on Friday, return to Georgia on Saturday for his graduation ceremonies before flying back to the track for night-time qualifying. "I want to make mom happy. I know shes going to be excited about that one," he said. Sadler held on for second while Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch were third and fourth. Busch led by 1.5 seconds and was seemingly cruising to victory until Tanner Berryhills spin forced a final restart and sent the field diving into the pits for a final shootout. Sadler moved from eighth to first after the stop by taking just two tires while Elliott was among the competitors who changed four tires. Elliott charged hard on the restart and was right in back of Sadler on the final lap. When Sadler got loose -- Sadler said the two didnt touch, although they surely came close -- Elliott was able to move past him and take the checkered flag. Elliott leads the point standings, topping JR Motorsports teammate Regan Smith by seven points. "Man, that was crazy," Elliott said. Then again, its been a crazy time for latest Elliott to conquer the track "Too Tough To Tame." His father won here five times and earned the nickname "Million Dollar Bill" when his Southern 500 win earned him the Winston Million bonus in 1985. Chase Elliott hadnt ever turned a lap at Darlington until Thursday and quickly gained a "Darlington stripe" -- a rookie initiation -- as he hit the track. But Elliott found his poise on the tricky track and raced among the more experienced drivers throughout the night. Elliott led 52 of the 147 laps, second only to Buschs 84 laps led. "Wait until he gets out of school," Earnhardt said. Earnhardt believes Elliott has a composure and poise uncommon in young racers. "Id like to think were going to hold on to him," Earnhardt said. "But hes ahead of scale." For much of the race, it appeared Busch would grab his third Darlington victory in as many Nationwide races. Busch led by nearly a second and half heading into the late stages until Berryhills incident sparked the last of seven caution periods. But Busch couldnt make his way out of pile at the restart and settled for his sixth top-10 Nationwide finish in 10 career marks at Darlington. Sadler, too, had hoped his crews good work in the pits would steal a late victory. Instead, he picked up his third top-three finish in the past four Darlington events. Willie Horton Jersey . He made another correct read. The Browns, who have been shuttling quarterbacks on and off the field all season, finally got some good news on that front: Campbells ribs are only bruised. Al Kaline Jersey . -- Rookie Victor Oladipo came off the bench to score 20 points and Glen Davis had 18, leading the Orlando Magic to a 112-98 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. http://www.cheaptigersjerseyschina.com/jordan-zimmermann-jersey/ . The 20-year-old Pelicans big man glanced up and smiled widely at the well-wishers -- a fitting end to a day he wont soon forget. Davis responded to his selection earlier in the day as a Western Conference All-Star with 26 points and 10 rebounds, and the New Orleans Pelicans overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-91 on Friday night. Cheap Tigers Jerseys . -- Chris Crawford hit a 3-pointer with 1:36 left to put Memphis ahead to stay, and the 21st-ranked Tigers beat seventh-ranked Louisville 72-66 Saturday, sweeping the season series from the Cardinals. Authentic Tigers Jerseys . The question is how many minutes will be available to them and can any of their defence or goaltending provide value? Top Picks: Following a down year in 2011-2012, Matt Duchene rebounded with his highest points-per-game (0.HAMILTON - Hes a multiple all-star, been the recipient of outstanding lineman and Canadian nominations and last year was named the top centre in the Hamilton Tiger-Cats illustrious CFL history. But on Sunday, Marwan Hage will experience a career first: playing in an East Division final. The Ticats face the defending-champion Toronto Argonauts at Rogers Centre with the winner advancing to the Grey Cup game in Regina on Nov. 24. "You just have to cherish the opportunity and give it the best shot youve got every time because it might not come around for another five-to-10 years," Hage said Thursday. "I can attest to that." Hamiltons back in the East Division final for the first time since dropping a 19-3 decision to Winnipeg in 2011. But the six-foot-two, 291-pound Hage didnt play in that game due to injury. A healthy Hage certainly enhances Hamiltons chances for success Sunday. The 32-year-old centre is responsible for calling the offensive lines blocking assignments. Hage must recognize defensive fronts and quickly figure out how to best neutralize the rush or oncoming blitz packages. Thats a challenge most games but becomes even more difficult when facing a Toronto defence headed by Argos defensive co-ordinator Chris Jones. Jones has a well-earned reputation of being very imaginative in designing blitzes to pressure opposing quarterbacks. "Hes going to switch looks on you, hes going to bring blitzes from a lot of angles and put pressure with a lot of fronts and a lot of looks," Hage said. "I rely a lot on my experience and what Ive seen. "Ive faced (Jones) a lot in the past, I study the tapes every time we play him but I have the utmost respect for his defence and some of the crazy stuff you see out there." Its easy to understand why Toronto would want to attack the Ticats offence. The unit surrendered a CFL-high 65 sacks this season and pressuring league passsing leader Henry Burris could help ground the leagues second-ranked aerial attack (299.dddddddddddd yards per game). But Hamilton coach Kent Austin said the sack total is deceiving. "We were obviously not good early and some of that had to do with trying to figure out what was the best lineup," Austin said. "Weve modified what weve done offensively to play more to the strengths of those guys, identify what we dont do as well and stay out of those situations as much as we can. "Just like other positions, weve improved over the course of the season. Theres a lot of reasons why (sacks) occur and theyre not all due to just one position." Austin said having a veteran like Hage at centre certainly anchors the offensive line. "Hes got a ton of experience, hes very bright," Austin said. "He gets our guys in position to be successful, he makes all the calls for us. "Hes a good, veteran, savvy presence that plays well." Austin has been innovative in designing Hamiltons offensive gameplan, using all three quarterbacks — starter Henry Burris and backups Dan LeFevour and Jeremiah Masoli — at different times of games. But Hage said having multiple players under centre hasnt created challenges for Hamiltons offensive line. "Were used to all the quarterbacks . . . it works very well for us," he said. Hamilton and Toronto have been long-time CFL rivals but will meet in the East Division final for the first time since 86. Many of Hages current teammates werent even born then. "I understand the rivalry, Ive been part of it for along time," Hage said. "But we cant play the past . . . we play for the present. "The important thing is to get to the dance, get to the championship. The Argos are the team weve got to face . . . right now, I see us doing what we have to do to try to get to the championship game."
