SEATTLE -- After scoring 46 goals in five seasons for FC Dallas, Kenny Cooper knocked in a big one against his former team Wednesday. Less than two minutes after coming onto the field, Cooper converted a pass from Obafemi Martins in the 88th minute, and the Seattle Sounders came from behind to beat FC Dallas 2-1 and win their fifth straight game. Martins also set up Lamar Neagle for the tying goal in the 62nd minute. He has an MLS-leading six assists. Cooper subbed in for Neagle in the 86th minute. With Martins bringing the ball down the left side, Cooper ran into the box, took Martins cross and one-timed it high into the left side of the net for his third goal of the season. Cooper played his first four MLS seasons (2006-09) with Dallas, then returned last year after stops in New York and Portland. After drilling the ball past Dallas goalkeeper Raul Fernandez, he didnt engage in any elaborate goal celebration. The score was his 75th in MLS. "I would never want to disrespect a former team that was good to me," Cooper said. "Theres a lot of great quality on this (Seattle) team. I think were all determined and hungry to get out there and contribute. Once I get that opportunity, Im giving it my best." Cooper was acquired in an off-season trade as coach Sigi Schmid and the Sounders sought to bolster their bench after a late-season nosedive in 2013. He has played in nine of Seattles 10 games, coming off the bench in four. Schmid said his reserves are well-prepared. "Theyre good pros. Theyre motivated, and theyre (ticked) off when theyre not playing," he said. "When they get on the field, they want to make my life and my choices as hard as possible." The Sounders (7-2-1) tied a club record with their fifth straight victory, extending their unbeaten streak to six and their league-leading point total to 22. They came from behind in five of the games during the unbeaten streak. Each of the five game-winning goals have come in the final 15 minutes. "Its probably more nerve-wracking for us on the bench than it is for them on the field," Schmid said. "1-0 down for us is nothing. We can battle back from that." Brazilian forward Michel gave FC Dallas (5-4-1) the early lead when he converted a penalty kick in the 16th minute. It was his fourth goal of the year. Blas Perez helped set up the penalty kick when he charged into the box in pursuit of a ball, with Brad Evans and Zach Scott of the Sounders on him. In a tangle of feet, Perez went down, with Evans whistled for the foul. FC Dallas, which started 4-0-1, lost its third straight. "We deserved more, but thats the game," said Dallas coach Oscar Pareja. Trent Brown Patriots Jersey . After deputy commissioner Bill Daly said the league would consider pulling out of Sochi if something "significant" happens before players arrive, those set to participate are trying not to worry about that scenario.TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are turning to veteran play-caller Dirk Koetter to revive their struggling offence. The former Atlanta and Jacksonville offensive co-ordinator is joining the Bucs in the same capacity, the team announced Thursday.Koetter, 55, was let go last month by the NFC South rival Falcons, who fired coach Mike Smith after a 6-10 season. The Bucs stumbled to a 2-14 finish, playing the entire regular season without former offensive co-ordinator Jeff Tedford, who underwent a heart procedure in August and did not return to work any games.Im very excited to welcome Dirk to our staff, Bucs coach Lovie Smith said in a statement released by the team. With over three decades of experience at both the college and the NFL level, Dirk has a proven track record as a top offensive co-ordinator, Smith added. During his time in Atlanta, he led one of the most productive offences in the league and I believe he will enjoy similar success here with the exciting young players we have on offence. And, perhaps a new quarterback. The Bucs have the first overall pick in this years draft. Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariotta could be among the players Smith and general manager Jason Licht consider adding to an offence that ranked 30th among 32 teams in 2014.With Tedford sidelinedd, first-year NFL assistant Marcus Arroyo handled play-calling responsibilities.dddddddddddd Even though the Bucs had a pair of 1,000-yard receivers (Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson) for the first time in franchise history, quarterback Josh McCown finished with the second-lowest passer rating in the league.Koetter was Atlantas offensive co-ordinator for three years, helping Matt Ryan post the three highest passing yardage season totals in team history. The Falcons were eighth in total offence this season. It became very apparent early in our conversations that we share some of the same philosophies regarding the offensive side of the ball, Smith said.Prior to being hired by the Falcons in 2012, Koetter was Jacksonvilles offensive co-ordinator for five seasons from 2007 to 2011. He also has an extensive background on the college level, including stints as a head coach at Boise State (1998-2000) and Arizona State (2001-06).During his three seasons in Atlanta, the Falcons ranked second in the league in completion percentage (67.4), third in third-down conversion percentage (44.1), fourth in passing yards (277.2 per game), ninth in passing touchdowns (86), 10th in points scored (24.0 per game) and 10th in total yardage (363.5 per game).___Online:AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFLWholesale MLB Orioles JerseysRed Sox Jerseys From ChinaDiscount Yankees Jerseys OnlineRays Jerseys For SaleBlue Jays Jerseys From ChinaWholesale MLB White Sox JerseysIndians Jerseys For SaleTigers Jerseys From ChinaWholesale MLB Astros JerseysCheap Baseball Angels JerseysAthletics Jerseys From ChinaMariners Jerseys For SaleCheap Baseball Rangers JerseysBraves Jerseys For SaleDiscount Marlins Jerseys OnlineDiscount Mets Jerseys OnlinePhillies Jerseys From ChinaWholesale MLB Nationals JerseysCubs Jerseys From ChinaDiscount Reds Jerseys OnlineBrewers Jerseys From ChinaWholesale MLB Pirates JerseysWholesale MLB Cardinals JerseysDiamondbacks Jerseys For SaleRockies Jerseys For SaleDiscount Dodgers Jerseys OnlineDiscount Padres Jerseys OnlineGiants Jerseys For Sale ' ' '
