into high gear this week with practices for this weekend’s East-West Shrine Game. The New York Giants http://www.newyorkgiantsteamonline.com/will-hernandez-jersey , of course, have boots on the ground watching players. The Giants also, though, have a coach on the inside. Giants tight ends coach Lunda Wells is coaching the offensive linemen on the East team. Wells is the Giants tight ends coach and formerly an assistant offensive line coach.Wells being on the East staff headed by Sam Mills caught my attention simply because of the likelihood the Giants will be searching for new “hog mollies” in the upcoming draft. Here are the names of the offensive linemen on the East roster:Sean Rawlings, C, MississippiTyler Jones, G, N.C. Just keep in mind that the Giants are getting an up-close look at these guys this week. I wrote earlier this week that “the Giants organization can’t be very happy with Beckham right now.” Well, New York Giants co-owner John Mara proved on Tuesday that he is, indeed, not happy with superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.Sadly, in a 1-5 mess of a season Color Rush Riley Dixon Jersey , what Beckham is doing off the field is gathering more attention than what he has been doing on it.Beckham’s ESPN comments have proven divisive. The Giants made him stand in front of his team and explain them, then fined them for the remarks. After which he went on Facebook and said he was “not going to apologize for my heart” and “I don’t feel like it’s necessary for me to apologize for how I feel.”The owner obviously isn’t happy with a player he just handed a $95 million contract. The player doesn’t appear happy with the situation he signed up for, though he’s certainly happy with the money. The head coach who went out of his way to build a rapport with Beckham has made it apparent that he feels burned by the wide receiver.None of this is good. No matter what side you’re on. Reality is, the idea that there are sides to choose is a big part of the problem. Here’s more from Mara, via @judybattista:
