Henry scored in the 45th minute when he nonchalantly floated the ball just inside the far post. The Red Bulls (5-5-8) opened the scoring in the 17th minute when Henry set up an easy tap-in for Wright-Phillips MLS-leading 15th goal of the season. Columbus (4-6-8) answered in the 39th minute when Adam Bedell scored his first MLS goal. Henry then teamed with Lloyd Sam on a give-and-go in the 56th minute, and set up Eric Alexander on a breakaway in the 91st minute.
